We started the day by driving through Clarksville, TN, and seeing the river walk...
This is a sign of Mark's battalion
Off to a good start until a half hour into the trip we got a flat tire...
Mark was a pro and changed it in no time...
Back on the road again, and then it started POURING for about an hour...
I tried my best to keep Adam happy during the stress of the rain
The skies cleared up just in time to take a break in Graceland. We did a walking tour with headphone through Elvis' house!
Mark and Adam standing in Elvis' livingroom
This is Elvis' groovy billiard room, covered in 350 yards of fabric...
This is Elvis' Jungle room...
This was supposed to be Adam's time to run around and get some energy out, so he would sleep in the car, but he decided he needed his nap during the tour. I guess he's not a big Elvis fan.
Priscilla and Elvis' wedding attire...
Some of Elvis' performing outfits...
Look at all those awards!
The Graceland Mansion!
After our tour we were back on the road, and crossed the Mississippi river...
We thought we were smooth sailing, until we looked back and saw our camper scraping on the road. Our frame was broken! So we were in nowhere land in Arkansas and convinced a welder to help us on Christmas Eve.
The welder's names was Bubba Long and he told us not to walk around in this town. It must have a bad part of town, if a big guy named Bubba Long, won't walk around in it.
We were running out of things to do to keep a two year old happy, but we were trying our best, and trying not to cry at the same time!!
All I can say is "WOW!".. What an awful day! I can't believe so many things happened to you in ONE DAY! That means that the rest of the trip should be smooth sailing then! Good luck!!
