Millerton Lake

Two weekends ago we took a trip up to Millerton Lake with our friends Shaun, Ann and Riley. It's only about an hour away. It was a beautiful weekend.

This was the view on the way to the lake. The hills are breath-taking with pastures as far as your can see.

After lunch we went down to the water for some fishing...

No one caught any fish, so the boys decided to play in the water instead...

After fishing, Adam wanted to try out Riley's scooter. He loved it!

Poor Oscar missed most of the trip because we had to give him his medicine. We tried to give him a chance, but he was a maniac the first half of the day. Poor guy, if he would only stop barking.

At night we built a fire and roasted marshmallows...
