We were only 20 ft from this buck on the trail.
This one stays on the trail for a while, while we walked behind him. It was like he was showing us the way.

About an hour into the trip we stopped for lunch by the water.
Adam did really well walking on the trail and staying close.

It was a long day! Adam crashed on the way back to the car.
VIDEO: This is a video of one of the deer we saw. You can hear Adam in the background saying, "My don't see a puma!" In translation, He doesn't see a puma. He did see the deer, but I guess he was keeping his eyes out for pumas also. You can never be to careful.
