Getting Ready for Guests

This weeekend we are going to be having our first guests over. Mark's Uncle Bill and Aunt Jo are coming for the weekend from Northern California. We are very excited and are trying to get all of our last minute projects done before they arrive on Friday.

Adam had a blast playing in the dishwasher box.

Look at our new dishwasher. Mark hooked it up all by himself.

We finally got the spare bathroom finished. We painted the walls, put up new chair rail, hung the border, hung new curtains and shade, fixed the toilet, and painted the vanity.

Adam loves to pretend to paint...

Did I mention we also replaced the molding around every door in the hallway, painted the trim, doors and walls.

I can't wait until the trim and baseboards are done.

And here's the new bathroom...

This is the spare room. We haven't gotten a chance to paint it yet, but other than that it is ready for guests.

I made the spare room closet into my crafting area. It is still a work in progress, but at least everything is unpacked.

This is our master bathroom. I love it! We have never had more than one shower in our house. It is so nice to not have kid toys in the shower.

We have a separate tub and shower...

We also bought a grill this week....

and a patio set. We are ready for guests!
