We are now proud owners of a pop-up camper. We decided when we move to California in December, we are going to camp along the way, with a toddler and two dogs. Some may say we are insane, but we are extremely excited about it.
Grandpop says you insane to go across country camping in Dec. Will give odds out of 10 days you'll only use it once on the trip. CA is a different story. Good Luck
