Adam's Thomas Table

Adam's new interest is Thomas the Train. He goes crazy every time he sees anything with Thomas on it! He has started to get a collection of trains, so we thought it would be good for him to have a place to play with them. So I looked online for a train table, and they were hundreds of dollars! Mark and I decided we could make one just as nice, for a lot cheaper. Mark looked around in the garage and found pretty much all the pieces we would need to make a table. All we bought were some trim, and kid's paint. Adam had a great time helping us make it.

We let Adam paint the legs of the table. He did a great job!


Mark cut and sanded all the pieces.


And I decorated it. It doesn't quite look like the "real" Thomas table, but Adam loves it and that's all that matters!


All done and ready to play!
