For everyone I haven't written to before...this is our weekly obsessive-compulsive email to let you know how we're doing. Just to keep you updated, since we don't get to see you guys very often.
This week was pretty calm. I took Adam to my old job at the dr's office to show him off. He was a big hit! He looked like a little man in his jean, sweatshirt and shoes. No one could believe he was a month old. They all thought he was two or three months. When we took him to the dr's last week, he already weighted 10lbs 11oz. He's growing fast.
Before Adam came along, Mark and I would make it a point to go out to eat every Friday night. It was our "date night." This week was our first week going out for "date night" since Adam. He tagged along and was a great addition to the night. He almost let me get through my meal before he had had enough of being in his carseat.
This week he also started looking at his mobiles and people's faces. It's so neat to watch him discover new things. Two of the pictures I sent are of the day he noticed his light show toy. He had a blast watching the lights change. He was smiling and cooing the whole time.
Zoe and Oscar (the dogs) started to really interact with Adam this week. When he cries, they try to comfort him by bringing him their favorite toys. It's really cute. They are adjusting much better now. I guess they just needed time to figure out this new situation.
